Ferry<\/span><\/strong>, <strong>1892<\/strong>, making the painting 125 years old this year.\u00a0 Happy Birthday!\u00a0 To celebrate we have moved our pride and joy from a spot where it had little relevance to adjacent displays to a newly created area which will house our collection of photos and postcards of old Brandon.\u00a0 You will be able to take a trip down memory lane, reliving forgotten landscapes and buildings that look different today, with this magnificent painting taking a prominent position.\u00a0 To see the new display, along with the painting, visit us on 4th June, our first Open Day.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.brandonheritage.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/IMG_20170513_141312789-001.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-530 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/www.brandonheritage.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/IMG_20170513_141312789-001-1024x733.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"458\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We are also celebrating our website being <strong>ONE MONTH<\/strong> old today, and it seems to be proving a hit.\u00a0 Yesterday we had our most visitors to the website &#8211; 135.\u00a0 We hope you enjoy the website and that it inspires you to pop along to the Heritage Centre to learn more about the town&#8217;s history.\u00a0 We also look forward to hearing about your own projects or memories of Brandon&#8217;s past.<\/p>\n\n<p>P.S. Artists have always been drawn (excuse the pun) to our landscapes.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s an old photo of one sketching by the river.\u00a0 Could this be Mr C.E.
