Walking:
From Thetford Road – Head toward town. Turn left into George Street and the Heritage Centre is on the right, just 100 yards from the beginning of George Street.
From the rest of town – Head toward the centre of town, specifically Market Hill. Walk toward the clock tower. Upon reaching the clock tower turn left, past the Five Bells public house. Opposite you is the exit from George Street (one way) and the Heritage Centre is just 100 yards on the left of that road. Be careful crossing the Bury Road, especially on the bend – there is a pedestrian crossing just a few yards to the right.
By car:
A11 – Take the turning marked for Centre Parcs and head past Centre Parcs, keeping on the B1106 for about four miles before entering Brandon on the Bury Road. There is a car park just off Bury Road, near the town centre, which is just a two minute walk from the centre. Alternatively continue to the T-junction with Thetford Road, turn right then and after about 200 yards turn right into George Street (one way). There is a car park opposite the Heritage Centre.
From Thetford – Take the B1107 for about six miles and enter Brandon on the Thetford Road. After a mile or so you will enter into George Street (one way) and car parking is opposite the Heritage Centre.
From Mundford – Take the B1065, entering into Brandon over the railway crossing and into High Street. Upon approaching the traffic lights in the town centre, take a left into Thetford Road. After about 200 yards turn right into George Street (one way). There is a car park opposite the Heritage Centre.
From Mildenhall – Take the B1065, driving past R.A.F. Lakenheath base and into Brandon along London Road. Continue straight over the Tesco traffic lights and upon approaching the traffic lights in the town centre, get in the right hand lane and drive straight over the junction into Thetford Road. After about 200 yards turn right into George Street (one way). There is a car park opposite the Heritage Centre.
By bus:
There is a bus stop in George Street, opposite the Heritage Centre. Just walk right for a few yards and you will see us. Due to George Street being one-way some buses will drop off along London Road, near the town centre. This is just a few minutes walk away from the Heritage Centre. Proceed into town and follow the directions above for those walking to the centre.
By train:
Exit the station (if from Ely you will need to cross over the footbridge to the opposite platform) and walk toward the road. Turn left and head into town. Enjoy the riverside views as you cross over the bridge. Proceed along High Street, into town, and follow the directions above for those walking to the centre.
