Open Day!! 4th June 2017

Last day preparations before Open Day …

So today saw final preparations for our Open Day – some last minute additions to the Festival display – BRANDON BUZZ (thank you Eddie Stewart) and a quick clean through the centre.

We also took delivery of our new sign – thank you Alison Barnes, your handiwork is greatly appreciated by all at the centre.

During the morning the centre welcomed the Waveney Valley Community Archaeology Group, who took great interest in the objects on display in our flint, fur and Harvey Adam Room.  Our thanks to the group for their most generous donation to the centre.  We look forward to seeing you again sometime.

So there is no more prepping for our Open Day.  10am tomorrow, 4th June, we shall be open.  Volunteers will be briefed, the Meat Market are on board with their “Taste of Brandon” – some delicious rabbit stew for you to try; we also have books you can buy, or you can be in with a chance to win some by simply filling in a questionnaire.  See you tomorrow.
